Live from Grant Park

Hi everybody. I'm at the Obama rally in Grant Park about 100 yards from the stage. Just wanted to say hello.

My mentor's sister was there and said it was amazing. I was so happy that he won - even though I was too tired to stay up for the results but I did find it interesting on how quiet the crowd was when he won. There were more tears than shouts and I give that to the fact that it was a date to remember in history. I also found it interesting when they showed the first 43 presidents and noticing how they were all white men that looked familiar and when they put Obama's face in the middle, it was a great achievement in history. I also wanted to bring up the fact if anyone goes against their parent's opinions of anyone in their family. Personally, I know my grandparents are still racist and even though Obama is half white and half black, I noticed that the results were 90% white for McCain and 60% for Obama and surprisingly there was 1% black for McCain which goes to say that there is still racism that still exists today. I was also wondering, since Greg was there that I heard on the news that they found a person with weapons near the park and I was wondering if anyone thinks that Obama is going to get assassinated?
